Friends of Pulaski Park-Cudahy is sponsoring it's second annual BLUEGRASS IN THE PARK event. A flag raising ceremony will start the festivities at 11:30 a.m. This celebrates the 90 years that the park has been in existence.
Following this ceremony, the foot-stomping music begins. Hot dogs, Smithfield brats, Palermo pizza, treats and beverages will be grilled and available for purchase. There will chances for great raffle items.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the groups' efforts to restore the 1930s era pavilion to make it available for public rental.
